As the son of shopkeepers who ran a bamboo-crafts store, he combined his family’s personal knowledge with the Kyoto region’s rich culinary history and unparalleled natural resource to create high quality bamboo goods. Each set of chopsticks is handcrafted by artisans who specialize in working with the local bamboo.
